Get CORNER GAS Props and Show Stuff!
Each week you can use your DOG RIVER Dollars to bid on props and other collectible items right from the CORNER GAS set! These are one (or a few) of a kind items, and only available through the DOG RIVER Auction.
How Can I Participate?
In order to participate you have to first be a registered member of the CORNER GAS site. You can accumulate DOG RIVER Dollars all over DOG RIVER Online, by playing the games, taking the weekly quiz and sending out postcards.
There will be an auction every week that a new episode of CORNER GAS season 5 airs. Each week that the auction runs, at 11.59.59 PM EST on Monday night the person with the highest bid on each item is the winner, and will be notified by email.
YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE IDENTITY TO BID ON ITEMS. Once you have a successful bid, you cannot use another identity on the CORNER GAS web site to bid on another item, you have to start accumulating DOG RIVER Dollars again with the identity that had the successful bid. So don't try and create ghost personas, you will be disqalified. Play nice.
At anytime you can join the auction to bid, follow the current auction or just to see who was last week's winner. But don’t forget, DOG RIVER Dollars are like life. You can spend them any way you want, but you can only spend them once. Well, after you spend them you can start over again, so technically that’s not really true, but still, use them wisely!
CORNER GAS will ship your auction item within Canada.
Each Year the DOG RIVER Dollars are zeroed, so everyone can start fresh with $1000 DRDs.
For Season 5 they will be Zeroed on August 17th, 2007. The DRD's from playing the contests will be awared starting the week of September 10th, 2007!
To collect DOG RIVER Dollars you can:
Go Combine Racing! Each week that CORNER GAS airs there will be a combine racing, with DOG RIVER Dollars awared to the highest scores. So get warmed up.
Play the Quiz Each week that CORNER GAS airs there will be a series of Quiz Questions, posted in the HOWLER, that relate to the next episode of CORNER GAS. If you get them right, it’s $10,000 DOG RIVER Dollars! The Quiz questions are listed the week before each episode in the HOWLER.
Play Prairie Scramble Each week the top scores in all three categories of Prairie Scramble win DOG RIVER Dollars. The top weekly player on EACH boards wins 3,000 Dog River Dollars, 2nd place gets 29,00, all the way down to 30th place who gets 1,00 Dog River Dollars!
Play the Pump Game Each week the top 3 scorers on the Pump Game win 3000, 2000 and 1000 DOG RIVER Dollars for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Send E-Postcards There are E-Postcards at the Gas Station in DOG RIVER with your favourite CORNER GAS characters. Email them to your friends to earn DOG RIVER Dollars.
Send Video-Postcards There are Video-Postcards to send from DOG RIVER that will link to new Comedy Clips with your favourite CORNER GAS characters. Email them to your friends to earn DOG RIVER Dollars and more.
