It's always the way, just when I started to watch it you tell me it is over. What did I do and all of us Canadians do to deserve your leaving.
I was very lucky to have visited Dog River in the summer of 2007 and it is true you can see nothing for miles and miles.
I wish all of you the very best in your next projects and thank you for the great laughs. Perhaps a movie is in the works?
Be well friends.

I'm sorry to see the show end as I absolutely love Corner Gas.  Thanks for the laughs (including the time I was laughing so hard at the gym, I almost fell off the stair machine).  All the best.

I am sitting here eating my Pillsbury crescent rolls and Knorr swiss turkey gravey (yup that's dinner).I have been thinking about you guys alot. I have been watching you for your full 6 seasons. My number one reason for watching you when you first went on air was that I live in rural ontario and don't subscribe to cable. So I didn't have a lot of choices. As time went on though, I realize that I have actually never seen quality tv with quality actors until Corner Gas appeared.  I congratulate all of you for changing the face of Canadian (sub-times - sub-standard )programming). You made Canadian TV worth watching. I commend you for a job well done, and hope the best for all of you in the future.  I hope to see you in other programming and if you need a reference letter....just let me know.

If you ever want to come back - I'll be here.
Best of luck

Getting ready to watch all things Corner Gas tonight.  Can it be??  Can it really be??  Maybe this is a dream Brent ... and at the end of tonight's show you will tell us that you'll be back again!!  (Wishful thinking!)

I recall the very first promos for Corner Gas.  My husband said "hey they made a show about small town Saskatchewan" ... and at first I didn't believe him!  As a "prairie girl at heart" who now resides in Ontario, I was enthralled to think that there would actually be a show about Saskatchewan!!  Sure enough ... and the show has never, ever disappointed us!!  Just when you thought there couldn't be another "small town angle" ... the next episode would be even more hilarious!!

I even ventured into "The Ruby Cafe" and became one of the original chatters.  On a trip back to Saskatchewan to visit my family, my son and I were fortunate enough to meet some fellow chatters, and visited Dog River itself, as well as the set in Regina.  "Hank" ... my son still has the signed hat .... Thanks!!

Corner Gas ... you reinforced the wonderful nostalgia I have about growing up in Saskatchewan, and helped me to appreciate it even more.

All the best to all of you ... cast, crew, writers, etc.  You came into our homes but most of all you wormed your way into our hearts (not that any of us are complaining!).  We'll watch the re-runs and laugh just as much as the first time we watched!!

** here's to hoping it's all a dream ....... **

It is such a shame that this show has to come to an end! At the same time I understand....in being from a small town there is only so much that can happen before it becomes repeated. Hopefully you will decide to do a movie...it would do extremely well! It is such a sad season because so many great shows have come to an end like this. I want to wish all you the best of luck in your future endeavours, and just because the show has come to and end of course it doesn't mean we won't be seeing you all once again anytime soon! Please keep us all up to date as to what you will be doing as well. *Crossing my fingers* That you will do a movie!

Oh my!  I wish that it were not time to say “Good bye”!  Corner Gas was a big part of my life.  I loved the show, enjoyed the Corner Gas on line (participated in the Ruby as D2er, when it was a chat site and when it changed forms), attended the comedy show (which I believe was called “Corner Gas Live”) and went on the Corner Gas Magic Tour.  There are so many great stories to tell, even about Corner Gas fans that meet each other and are still friends to this day!  Oh, Corner Gas was more than just a regular television show!   I am sure that many others would agree!

Why does most Canadian shows have to end so early in their careers, even though you have beaten out "Due South" by 2 seasons it is not a time to stop. Brent you should go on and make a movie about CG and make it good. This is such a sad day, and to only think I signed up for this account just to say goodbye is kind of sad and lame, but it really is sad to see you guys go with all your good comedy.
Thanks

I remember when I first heard that Brent was going to have his own sitcom, set in a gas station in Saskatchewan, on CTV.

My first thought was that it would last about 6 episodes.  I was familiar with Brent's  comedy, but I never in my life imagined it would translate well to TV. Add to that the fact that we don't exactly have a great track record with sitcoms here in Canada, and my hopes were low, to say the least.

Then, I saw my first episode, and I was totally blown away.  The dialogue was witty, the acting sharp, the production values high, and holy hell, Leon Robinovitch was playing Brents dad!!

Thanks for the laughs, guys, and thanks for proving me wrong.

I just wanted to say that today is a very sad day indeed.  My family and I have been faithful viewers from day one, and Monday nights will be mighty lonely without you.  We have every season on dvd, and they have been viewed almost to the point of needing new ones.  One of my fondest memories will be of visiting my sisters in Regina, and on impulse, deciding to load everyone, including my two young children, into the car and taking a trip to Rouleau just to see Corner Gas.  We spent an enjoyable afternoon driving around "Dog River" and the surrounding area, looking for the survaillance bush.  It was an afternoon with three grown women giggling like little school girls while my children looked at us and I' m sure thought we had totally lost it.  Since that day, thay have become fans as they too have grown up watching you.  I often find my 12 year old son and nine year old daughter watching the dvds.  We are proud Saskatchewanians, and I am so glad someone chose to set their tv show here.  On chaperoning a recent school field trip to Moose Jaw for my son, we had to drive passed Rouleau, and the bus driver had to stop on the side of the road for all of the students to take photos of Corner Gas to show their parents.  It was almost as thrilling for them to see that as it was for them to tour the tunnels of  Moose Jaw.  Thanks for all the wonderful memories and for bringing a bit of my beloved province to the world.  You will forever live in the hearts of  small town folks everywhere.  I hope there is a movie in the works, as I would be one of the first in line for tickets.  TAKE CARE JACKASSES and remember WE LOVE CORNER GAS!!!

Dear Corner Gas Cast,

Please don't end the show!!! It's changed Canadian TV and made millions of people in North America laugh! I can't belive it's ending because it is my absolute favourite show and I (or anyone else who watches your show) don't want to be sitting in my house with nothing to do with Seasons 1 to 6 on DVD sitting on my shelf full of episodes that I've already watched!!! So please take the time to think about all the complaints that you are going to get and eventually you're gonna have to make new episodes because one day you'll be sitting in your house with an angry mob on your doorstep! So, PLEASE!!!! I speak for millions when I say this; LONG LIVE CORNER GAS!!!!

Scincerely, Gabriel Reeves

It has been an incredible six years of comedy thanks to the cast and crew at Corner Gas.  We will miss seeing your smiling faces on Monday evenings.  Waiting for the final DVD to come out so we can watch the antics at the Ruby whenever we get lonely for down home small town humour.  Congratulations on your final season!

The price of gas in Saskatoon today is $ .9389 but Corner Gas is priceless.  Cheers on your final episode and all the best with your future plans whatever they might be... hopefully a movie is on the way, or at least right around the corner!

Hi Guys, from Waterloo Ontario, on behalf of my Wife and myself, I just wanted to thank you so much! Your show became an event - every week, not missing one episode (thanks to the PVR gods!) of Brent and Hank, Wanda and Lacie and the rest of the cast! Life continues on for us, but it will be a little less funny - without our friends at Corner Gas helping us start each week with a laugh, not only at CG, but at ourselves - which I believe CG is - a broad look at all Canadians - and what we do best - laugh at ourselves! We have followed the 'live' events when they came to the big city of Toronto. Brent has pumped gas into our car, we saw the On-Stage tour, and even Mr Butt coming to Kitchener for a stand-up event. We have the clothes (my wife has a Ruby T-Shirt and 'hoodie', I have the CG Gas Pump work shirt and D-River PD), as well as some coffee mugs and other items... Finally, they say good things must come to an end. I follow that with: 1. Who are 'they'??? 2. Why????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all will be missed.

Thanks, it has been great watching your show every week.  We record it when we can't be home to watch.  We have all the DVDs to date, and will not miss getting season 6.  We hope the talk of a movie turns out to be more than just talk.  Good luck to all the cast & crew.  We wish you well & will miss you.

Brent,

I think that you've got to have some kind of a tourist theme park for fans of the show to visit in Saskatchewan after the show is done.  It sounds from media reports like you are planning to mothball the set in Rouleau and to basically disappear.  I understand that there are licencing issues, profit sharing issues and so on with continuing to have some kind of presence on the ground in Saskatchewan after the show leaves the prime-time Canadian main TV network, but I think you are going to get a groundswell of unrest from strong Corner Gas fans who can't find any Corner Gas presence either in Rouleau or in Regina starting this summer.

What a Ride !! Thanks to all of you for just being ! I used to go to school in Wilcox just down the road from Rouleau (Notre Dame College) and I feel a real connection with the slow... easy... going Rural Saskatchewan life. Another connection, is that my cousin & hubby actually owned the gas station in Rouleau !

You are not gone ... because I actually watch you EVERY WEEKDAY at 1 p.m. on CMDYE channel 548 Starchoice (I even take you to Mexico for the winter too .. hehe didn't know you were there huh ?? ) .... so Ha ! you will always be with us !!

Good Luck to you all in the Future !!!

In a time of mind-numbing so-called entertainement, Corner Gas is a true bright spot.  It is what I've looked forward to every week and will miss it terribly.  Clean comedy is such a rarity that I loathe the end of this wonderful family show.

Dear Corner Gas cast members,  I am saddened to hear that tonight will be your final episode of Corner Gas on CTV.  Different than most other comedy shows your program was uniquely canadian with a certain spin on all the characters that would be hard to match to any other hit comedy series that I have watched on TV. Although I liked the show I had a hard time relating to the characters in their normal routines. When it comes to picking your favorite character I would have a hard time choosing just one person. I live in Slocan, B.C. where I heard that Laceys mom lives is this true.  I would sure like to meet her one day.  I have never been to the prairies so maybe that is why I am having a hard time with your comedic content on the show. I do not drink beeer or do other crazy things but I still think your show will be one for the record books. I truly hope that God will bless all of your future endeavours and give you all peace. I am thankful that I am able to write this final message to everyone involved with the Corner Gas show.Corner Gas you are something else. My grandparents came from Speers, Saskatchewan.

I have been a fan of Corner Gas since episode ONE.    I was sad to hear that this would be the last season.  Right around the time that the DVD's come out in the fall, has been around my husbands birthday.  So shopping for him was always easy.  What am I going to do next year?? :-)  But thank you for many many laughs over the years.  Know that you are loved in Canada, and I think a little more by those of us in Saskatchewan.  Again, THANK YOU!

It is truly a sad day for me.  I feel like I am losing 8 of my very best friends all at once.  To a degree, I feel somewhat like I do in the few hours leading up to a funeral, all the mixed emotions.  I know I will have the memories of all those good times, and I have the videos (and I can look forward to "the movie"??).

Corner Gas is clearly the very best TV show to be made in Canada since, well, maybe forever.  "Well done" to everyone involved with the production, and thank you for taking me "home" for 30 minutes every week.  It's actually hard to believe that it has already been six years since Lacey renovated the Ruby.

(sob, sob, sniff, sniff).  Now what am i going to watch after Dancing With the Stars?  Yours is the only Canadian show that I watch faithfully AND sincerely enjoy!  My husband and I laugh each week at the antics and happenings that go on in Dog River.  I love each and every one of the characters.  I really can't pick a favourite!  You will all be missed.

Could a few of you come to our house on Monday night's for the first few weeks? It'll help us to get weaned off of Corner Gas - I don't like the idea of quitting "Cold Hank" - Dog knows what could happen..... Me and my family will miss you all IMMENSELY!! To all on Corner Gas:  DON’T GO!!  A lot of it has already been said by other entries but here are some of our additional thoughts

Every now and then a show will come along that touches the hearts and minds of people (along with their funny bone) in an honest and decent way. Corner Gas does that. It offers great humor in a show that is one of the best shows (if not the only one worth watching!) on TV.  Its humor is witty, clean and non-stop.  It seems that most of the shows on TV currently are crime shows or not so real “reality” shows, none of which really add to our minds in a positive way. Corner Gas provides non-stop honest fun, great character chemistry, a chance to laugh at ourselves (in a good way), a look at the dynamics of small community rural living and so much more.

Brent, I love your outlook on life and your sense of humour – Nothing seems to get you “down”.  If more people could be like that, the world would be a much nicer place and people would have a lot fewer problems.  When you really think about it, there is a little of all of the characters in all of us.

I believe the popularity of the show is actually increasing as more and more people I speak with are just starting to watch and get “into” the show.   When I heard that the series was ending it made me sincerely sad – something Corner Gas has never done before!  A very enjoyable and truly anticipated and important part of our week will be gone.

Thank you all for such a wonderful and great show. Please continue if you can.

From our family in Nova Scotia to yours….

The Notts.

I am a high school student living in Newfoundland and I just love your show.  I watch it everyday and enjoy it so much - I actually cried when I heard it would not be continuing.  Every cast member has become like my friends - that is how much I enjoy the show.  It is not very often you find a show with such enjoyment and pleasure to watch.  I will miss the show and all its cast.  I look forward to a possible movie.  Thank you for the many laughs.

I am going to miss this show soooo sooo much. My youngest son, who is 9, and I spent every Monday night watching the show together. It was our time together and we had a blast. Even at 9 years old, he knows how to appreciate good humour. We wish you didn't have to go and will miss the show terribly.

Dear Corner Gas,

I can't believe that today is the final episode of the show, and that after today, no new episodes will be aired. I could not believe that the show was ending when I found out; I found myself denying it because I didn't want to say goodbye to something that has become a part of my life. But it's like the saying "All good things must come to an end", one of the most difficult things to agree with, but indeed it is true. Corner Gas has gone places that no other show can compete with. The cast was great, the dialogue was funny which all helped to create a show that Canadians from all over the country can be proud of.
I would like to congratulate Brent Butt on creating what myself and all Canadians call "the best show on tv". Without your comedic mind and superb writing skills, this show would not have turned out as well as it did. Also for picking such a great cast to play the characters; I can not imagine anyone else playing each role, as they were played and brought to life perfectly. To the cast of the show, I would like to say that you all did an awesome job and that your individual rumour and quirks, made the show what it is.
That's about all I can say, without writing a book anyways,
So again, congratulations on a job well done, and I wish all of you good luck in the future and hope that we can all see you guys in our living rooms agains in the near future.
I love Corner Gas, because I AM CANADIAN!!!

CHEERS,
Your devoted fan since the beginning,
Chris Z.

It's the night before your last episode. It feels like the last day of a wonderful holiday and tomorrow it will all come to an end. Congratulations on a terrific series. You have found that magic formula that draws the viewer into a make believe world that we would like to become a part of. Many times I wished I could sit at the Ruby and eat a burger and fries while your fantastic characters entertained me with their antics. No other TV series gave me that sense of wanting to be a part of it.Monday nights will not be the same after the final episode. Thanks for all those entertaining evenings.

Great show everyone.  Six seasons and Corner Gas is still one of my favourite shows.  After I dished out $1,500 for an HDTV, it was nice to know that I would have something to watch to help me get my monies worth from my TV.  Congratulations everyone on the successful run that the show had.  You all seem so natural  that it made us want to move to the fictional Dog River.  I can't wait for Season SIX to make it to DVD or better yet Blu-Ray.

Wow I can not believe that it is time to say good bye.  You all have really done one hell of a job over the years and your show will be greatly missed.  Thank you so much for all the laughs.  When my life was truly in the dumps your show was my ray of sun shine.  Best of luck to you all and again you will be missed.
