There comes a time to say good bye

No, I cannot cry

For if I do, it would mean

or it would seem

I was going to miss you all

Well the truth be known

I must go and find a crying towel

and with that being said I am starting to howl

The very best to everyone connected with Corner Gas-may the road be wider, the trip to your new adventure shorter, and the wealth in your pocket be plenty

Dear citizens of Dog River,

Please forgive me as I have been spying on your community for the last 6 years. It seems that although you are a quirky bunch, you are also quite entertaining.

Mr. Yarbo (I believe you just like 'Hank') you crack me up with all your physical foul-ups and unintentional word play. If you ever get a real job or some higher education, it'll just suck all of the character right out of you. Please, never change.

Mr. Leroy...Ummm....Mr. Leroy Jr? Let's just say Brent shall we?. Your dry wit keeps everyone on their toes. The only thing more powerful than your sarcastic tongue is your ability to vaporize a chili-cheese-dog. Too bad you never hooked up with that gal Lacey. Maybe then she would actually feel like she fits in. Oh well, maybe in another sitcom I suppose.

Mr. Leroy Sr.....Ahhh....Jackass...(show some respect! Marko) Ummmm Oscar. So, were you 16 when the mental illness began to develop? Just joking old timer. You gotta admit though, some of your ideas and schemes were born in Crazy Town. You know, up the road from Wullerton. SPIT!

Emma, Emma, Emma. How you never murdered Oscar after all these years is beyond me. You know, for a country mom, you kinda scare me. I guess every family needs some muscle, a pillar of strength. With you we got the Incredible Hulk that bakes a mean caserole and can knit like the crows fly? Wait, I think that was Hank's line.

Officer Karen Pelley, stand down. Just for a moment anyway. I just wanted to take this moment to thank you for babysitting Quinton Davis for all these years. If it weren't for you, he'd be off doing God knows what, all willy-nilly. I'd also like to thank you for being sooooooo sensitive to the residents of Dog River. (note the sarcasm)

Ahem! Davis! (Davis swings around and displays the Vulcan solute) Alright! Okay Davis. Since we never had any regular children around Dog River, I guess I can forgive you for all your innocent child-like ways. Give this man one bowl on Mac-A-Roodles....Mac-A-Doodles?....Crack-A-Noodle-Doo?...ah, whatever. They come served in a boat, enjoy!

Lacey Burrows, you're like a square peg in a round hole! How did you ever think you were going to fit in to Dog River with your bizarre Toronto ways. You came the first year and spoke in sentences that made sense, you took a hole in the wall greasy spoon and turned it into the hub of the community, a place where everybody knows your name. oops scratch that last part, copyright issues. Lacey I'll leave you with one last thought. Have you ever considered that it wasn't you that needed to fit into their way of living but perhaps it was them that needed to fit into yours? Ahhh, but then where would the comedy be?

And last but not least, Wanda Dollard. How you managed to work beside Brent all these years without falling for him I'll never know. Yeah I know, the guy's unattainable, certainly out of Lacey's league and perhaps even yours. Oh well, I guess some other lucky gal will snag him. Heard him talkin on his tiny wee cell phone the other day to some chick named Nancy. If you ask me she sounded like some kind of know-it-all. Ahhhh...you had your chance. Perhaps Hank ain't lookin too bad after all, eh?

Take care all, ya bunch of jackasses! Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Oh wait, I gotta door-guy that'll fix that for you. Don't worry Brent, this isn't an attempt to emasculate you. wink, wink!

I have watched your show since it began.  I got a lot of people to watch it after that.  You will be truly missed from the air waves.  It is one of the truly funny shows, the laugh out loud kind.  Brent you are an excellent comic writer.

To the superb cast & crew of Corner Gas, a simple heartfelt THANKS!!!!!!  Monday evenings will leave a huge gap in our TV entertainment, but fortunately, I have all 5 seasons on DVD. I am just so very happy we had the opportunity to visit Rouleau Saskatchewan to experience the outdoor settings that bring the show to life. Can't wait for the movie! Again, thank you Brent, Gabrielle, Fred, Eric, Janet, Tara, Lorne and Nancy. WELL DONE!!!!

Wow- the final episode- how sad.  We have enjoyed the series so much- we use many "Corner Gas-isms" in our house, such as "big phone",  "have a heart:" "the cold Mexico" to name a few and at Easter when I made Hot Cross Buns- my teenagers  both started singing "see how they run."  My famly laughed at the episode when Emma bought all her Christmas presents in the summer because I've been known to Christmas shop year-round.  I would love to have a potato bowl like Emma's - who , by the way is played by my name twin- I get a lot of remarks when people hear my name is Janet Wright- and a few second looks- I am redhaired and I guess I resemble her a bit.  We will miss the show- we watch every epidosde- any time it's on, no matter how many times we've already seen it.  I guess it's time to get all of the seasons on DVD- my birthday is this month so that could be something to ask for!  Thanks for the laughs!!!!!!!!!!!!!We'll miss you!!!  the Wrights, Drayton Valley, Alberta

Thanks for the many laughs these past years. Only recently have I become a fan of Corner Gas but I was thoroughly entertained from the first time I watched.  The Corner Gas troop will be missed by many Canadians - best wishes to each on your future endeavours.

Thank you all for a wonderful show that will live forever in our cultural lexicon.

Even though we don't live in Canada anymore, we bought a special "grounded snowbirds" Canadian satellite dish and pointed it North (then eventually we pointed it south, because that's where the ANIK satellite is located).  Since then we have been enjoying the show from the very beginning.

Canada is such a tight knit and friendly place.  It seemed that everywhere I traveled, there was Brent performing stand up, or joined by the rest of the cast in a new charitable cause.

A big thanks to all the production members and crew.  A special thanks to our former CG production friends who are now working in North Van. (our home town when we are in Canada)  Your suggestions for the Live New Year's Show were extremely helpful and intelligent.

We will all remember this very dynamic group and actors and crew.  There was something created that was much greater than the sum of all the individuals.

All the Best,

Brent D.

Just wanted to say that I was a casual fan for a few years, but really got into the show after the Comedy Network's New Year's Corner Gas-athon. I now own the 1st five seasons on DVD to catch up on what I have missed. I regret that I didn't fully appreciate it sooner, but better late that never! I now consider myself a die-hard fan! Maybe there will be no new episodes, but the show will live on with me for a long time to come. Hopefully, we will see you all again down the road. All the best!

Am I the only one who finds this incredibly sad?  I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face!  I love this show!  I love the characters and I love that it is Canadian.  My entire family (ages 11 and up) find the show hysterical and we quote lines continuously.  I respect that you want to go out on a high note, but I think all fans will agree, there were many more fantastic story lines.  You have become part of our family and we will truly miss all of you.

Thank you so much for making us laugh until we cry!  We once saw on an interview that there might be a Corner Gas movie....DO IT!

Best wishes from fans in High River, Alberta

Sad to see such a fabulous Canadian icon go!Thanks so much for the laughter and enjoyment you provided us with almost every night. We loved your sense of humour and even the introduction and finale song (that our 4 year old knows the words to).

All the best to each and everyone of you. We hope to see you all again...

I have been a fan since the first episode I saw. I can remember the first time I saw Corner Gas clear as a bell and I can even remember what episode it was! I was watching the Comedy Network and the episode "Cousin Carl" came on and I remember wondering what the show was all about. I watched the show, and I remember at the end being extremely confused because Hank was not prepared for the talent show, so I figured he was some random out-of-towner that signed up. It was hilarious though! After catching it on season 1, I couldn't stop watching. I got more and more interested and then finally, after season 3 had come out, I decided that I was going to buy all three seasons and watch them! It was hard to find an episode I had not seen, but it was great seein them over again. Then I decided to come to this website and I met a great group of people. It was awesome! Then I checked out another Corner Gas website and made friends with another great group of people. I can't get over how much Corner Gas has affected my social life. Not only that, it's affected my vacations.

I decided last summer that I wanted to go to Rouleau, SK to see the actual set. My parents decided that my mom would go with me, and that I would have to pay for my own airfare and half of my hotel. So on June 27th, 2008 I left off from the Ottawa International Aiport to the Regina Airport. I had a BLAST! I spent the weekend going in and out of Rouleau and then I took the tour and saw the soundstage and then more of the town. I went to Rouleau a total of 4 times in the short Canada long weekend. I can't think of a better way to say it than: It was the ultimate experience.

I can relate to Corner Gas a bit, having lived the small town of Embrun, Ontario all my life. When I was born, this town had a mere 2,000 people and it has now grown to 8,000. Having grown up with the same people, everybody knows everybody. I feel smart watching Corner Gas because I can get a lot of the rural terms and small-town humor that a lot of people from urban centers can't. It's great!

I would like to thank Brent Butt for creating this genius television show and I wish him all the best. I will admit that Corner Gas has become an obsession and an addiction for me, but it is not an addiction that I'd be willing to give up.

I will miss you Corner Gas, you've been great to me!

Dear Cast and Crew,
Well its been a fantastic run and us fans can't thank you enough for this wonderful show and how at least for a half an hour we could forget our day and enjoy yours. It reminds me a lot of growing up in Warman, Sk. Yes I said Warman, I can't imagine growing up any where else or having the community we had. "Corner Gas" has been always a bright spot in my week and now that my husband and I own the seasons on DVD we continue to enjoy them daily...
Janet you must make an awesome Mom, not only to your real kids but to the show kids.
Eric you can call anyone a jackass anytime and they wouldn't get offended.
Brent your wonderful humor found in life to create the on show Brent is so awesome never lose that, and never forget you are a Saskatchewan boy. Don't forget us out here now that you are famous.
Fred you make Hank come alive, some days so smrt (aka smart) and some days just a few loads shy....Yet so damn cute.
Lorne a police officer never look the same to me since you bring Davis to life, loveable and gullable.
Tara you put that little mystery to Karen that people just can't fingure out, aloof and distant yet, you let people in a little at a time.
Nancy, the way you have created the character of Wanda is superb and yet so witty and also just that little bit sour....I wish I could be like Wanda just a little bit more in my every day life....
Gabrielle, you can come across so prim and proper Lacy and yet, somehow there is a little bit of a rebel in her. You always bring a smile to my face, and remind me when I used to go into the local cafe in Warman...
Oh I am so going to miss this show. I can't fault you for going out on top, this is the one honest to goodness show that is worth watching these days. I hope re runs continue for a long time. Nothing can compare to Corner Gas and nothing ever will. Thank you Brent for this wonderful imagination and creation of Corner Gas. I hope come Monday night when the last show airs that you all feel the love of Saskatchewan coming to you and the sadness in our hearts to say good bye. In closing I hope to see all of the cast in shows in the future and maybe a Corner Gas Movie with you all in it, if you all can't be in it, it's not worth making.
Thank you for the wonderful, truely awesome and great show. We Rock in Saskatchewan, Canada. There is no other place to live....
Your true fans always.
Debbie and Lionel Richard
P.S. I hope some day I can meet someone from the show to tell you in person thank you all....

It’s over? I thought we were going to talk about this. Have a heart! Try practicing commitment; I’ll show you how it works sometime. Yeah, the show IS pretty great; thanks for pointing that out. Actually, not to overstate, but it’s the best darn show in the history of the planet. But if you must go, be sure to get the F out of there.

MY interest will never wane.

I live in Arizona and discovered Corner Gas on an RV trip to Canada in 2006. Began to watch here in the US and love it. Received a gift of DVD's for Christmas this year and play it over and over.

YOU ARE THE BEST SHOW ON TV!!!

I stopped watching regular TV and now spend my evenings with the guys and gals at Corner Gas. Wish you could go on forever. Everyone involved with the show... the stars, the writers, the crew, deserve Academy Awards.

Goodbye to all my friends at Corner Gas and good luck to you all.
PS: Any possibility of a spin-off????

To all the crew at Corner Gas:
Those of us fortunate to watch Corner Gas here in Oz, will miss the antics of all the characters and their comic misadventures. The sight gags and simple circumstances reflecting everyday (dare I say mundane) life, which end up being blown out of all proportion, have just been sublime. We have enjoyed all things Corner Gas. The scripts were engaging, the acting brilliant and the delivery very tight. We don't have a favourite character or episode- all have been great. A tremendous effort by all. Relatives living in Manitoba tell us that Corner Gas is one of the highest rating TV series- no wonder why, as it is brilliant. We've been lucky enough to get the first four series on DVD and look forward to the remaining episodes being available here in Oz, hopefully soon.
Farewell to all at Corner Gas and good luck for the future.

Thanks, it was good to meet you all in Regina last summer.  We sent photos, that you signed, to your fans in England and California too.  They all love the DVD's we send them.   It's been a good run. We have enough memorabilia that we may need to build a museum to display it all, even the Grey Cup ball my daughter bid on.  God bless you all and keep making people laugh it's good for them.   Hope you get time to laugh yourselves. This is a sitcom that really works. More importantly, this is a Canadian show that really spoke to a Canadian identity. Corner Gas will go down in Canadian TV history as one of the gems, like Beachcombers, 22 Minutes, Kids in the Hall and Friendly Giant. Thanks for a great show; thanks for renewing my faith in Canadian culture.

Best of luck to all in your future endevours.

Sorry to see the show end.  I just started watching last year on WGN.  Unfortunately they play the same episodes over & over.  Your show reminded me of a mix of Northern Exposure & Wings.  Both great shows that eventually ended.  Thanks for the laughs.  John K

It has been a good run for all of you, and you have given much pleasure to your viewers.  I want to say how much I have enjoyed watching Janet.  Janet spent quite a few years growing up on Lake Cres. in Saskatoon.  Just at the end of the block from me.  She will likely be surprised to learn that I am still firmly planted on the ground, and not in it.  We will miss our time with all of you on Monday evenings, and wish you much success in all your future endeavors.  Thanks for a great time and all of the belly laughs.   Shirley Haskins

A truly funny show and such amazing actors with REAL talent (so hard to find these days). Corner Gas will truly be missed!

My husband and I have enjoyed your show since the first season and we sure will miss the shenanigans of all the cast members. You guys made a wonderful team! I hope you enjoyed working together as much as all your fans have enjoyed watching you together.

I'm sad that Corner Gas will no longer be a part of our Monday night lineup. However, I wish you all the best of luck for the future and thanks to you all for so many laughs over the years. You guys ROCK!!!

Now, off to stock up on Corner Gas merchandise (gotta get my mechanic hubby one of Brent's shirts before they sell out!).

Thank you all for all the Laughs and entertainment.  Mondays will not be the same without you.  We enjoyed you so much and so did our children. My son also took my DVD's of your show when he moved out.  So I'm going to have to replace them soon.  Thank you again and I hope to see you all on other shows soon

As they say all good things must come to an end.  I just want to say thanks for a great show that we could watch as a family.  In a tv world where doctors and murders rule, Corner Gas was a such a wonderful change from the "norm" and let us actually laugh and forget about the outside for 30 minutes.  The characters will be greatly missed but alas will live forever on DVD's and reruns, so for that I am grateful.  Thanks for coming into our family room and all the best to everyone with future projects and passions.

Oh wow, what you're finishing up already? Geez I only just started watching this show fairly recently. Here in Australia we're only up to the end of Season 2 on TV, although I got the jump by getting the DVD's and am almost through Season 3 now. So luckily for me, I still have some more Gas before it runs dry!

Congrats on your 6 successful seasons. We live in a time when TV shows are so over-written, so over-produced and trying too hard to be witty and clever. Some of them pull it off and some of them don't. But Corner Gas is different. It is SO refreshing to see a simple, uncomplicated show with simple uncomplicated characters that is just good basic fun. Sure, I like a couple of the "big" shows on TV, but Corner Gas is the antidote to those.

We need more shows like this. C'mon Brent are you up for it?

Corner Gas, Corner Gas. How much do I love thee? Too much to bother counting, thats how much.  You've made my Mondays all the more brighter and lighter. Way funnier too. Corner Gas made Mondays worth gettin up for, for sure.  Not to mention the time I spent on your website trying to get better at Combine Racing (and failing) and attempting to beat my Corner Gas partner at Prairie Scramble.  This show has brought together many people from all over Canada (and even some from the states) and has opened up a whole new social circle for many of us.  I know that all of us at the Ruby are going to be very sad to see you go, and we wish the best for everyone involved in the show.  I've loved your jokes since the beginning, and have been able to relate to many of the funny things in the show.  I don't think there will ever be a show as wickedawesome as Corner Gas.

I'm gonna miss my Monday laughs so much!
