Just wanted to say thank you and goodbye to all of the cast and crew of Corner Gas. Your show has brought many moments of joy and laughter to my life. I love how you have been able to accurately depict many of the relationships that reside in a small rural area. Watching the show has reminded me so much of growing up in the small town of Mayerthorpe Alberta, that I have purchased the first five seasons of Corner Gas and am anxiously awaiting the release of the sixth. Although I am deeply sadened that you have decided to make this season the last, I will always have the many good memories.

Take care, and may all of life's adventures find you well.

Yours truly,

-B

I'm really going to miss Corner Gas.  Thing is, I grew up with a gang of people so much like the Corner Gas gang, it's kinda' eerie.  It's been so refreshing to able to enjoy a show that's unabashedly Canadian, and so beautifully captures our idiosyncrasies.  Character development has been superb, both by the writers and by the actors. And, the show's been able to walk that fine line between quaintly endearing, and nauseatingly cliche (a' la later Wayne and Shuster stuff).  I look forward to seeing the actors of Corner Gas move on to other projects; every one is worth watching.  And Brent Butt is a true Canadian treasure, who can stand proudly next to the best of anyone on stage today.  Bravo to all of you!

(P.S.: the website is great, too. I play Prairie Scramble several times every day.)

Over the last 6 years, I have religiously watched every episode of Corner Gas almost every week. It has given me many laughs, and I would like to thank everyone at Corner Gas for showing the world that a Canadian show can be great not only in in Canada but around the world. Congratulations on a job well done!

I wanna say thanks for all the laughs... but if I only said that I wouldn't be telling you every thing...

CornerGas has inspired me to take on acting and to always look up, and I live in the US so when I look up Canada is in my eyes. I plan on moving up there someday.

Also my favorite actress is Nancy Robertson!

Also I'v looked around on youtube for other Canadian shows and I have to say WOW! it's a shame we don't get more Canadian shows down here, they seem so much more interesting than American shows. Like shows here in America, if it's not about people working in a hospital drama it's someone living a double life as a spy and way to many sexual scenes.

Although I'v never been there (yet) I feel like Canada's my home away from home... My happy place.

Goodbye CornerGas and Thanks for every thing you've done for me. Thanks for the inspiration and making me feel better when ever I was feeling bad.

(P.S. if you Canadians ever hear on the news about some redneck American girl crossing over to Canada without a passport and refuses to go back and they have a giant man hunt for the nut on the loose in Canada...yah that nut will probably be me.)

Love always.

Each of you guys contributed, most of the time, to a slight improvement on my sanity. It was a bit of a reflection on part of our own lives, each showing a small part of us - some more than others. We'll miss you at our house. Wish you well in your next endeavors; it will be easier for some than others. I'm sure you all have experienced changes and adjustments during this time and know you will flourish. It was amazing to see Ms. Wright pull through her ordeal. Congratulations to you all for a job well done, no matter what the sour pusses of our society say about you, eh "Oscar". (P.S. - I think "Hank" would make an excellent "salesman" for "my oil".

Quite possibly, the funniest show on Australian television. It's up their with Seinfeld, an absolute hoot.
We are seeing the early episodes here in Australia so we have it all to look forward too. .
Every character is perfectly cast. Brilliant just brilliant. Many thanks for making us laugh.

This is so sad :-(

Since leaving Canada two years ago and moving to the Philippines my wife and I have been able to keep up with the all the episodes of Corner Gas.  We both LOVE the show so very much and soon we will sadly miss you ALL.

We sincerely wish that you would not end the pleasure you give us and all the fans but yet understand that the time has come to hang up the pump hose!

My wife, a Filipina, has such great love for Corner Gas she is always asking if we have the latest episode to watch and soon I will have to tell her that there are no more.  :-(

Maybe you could all get together and make a movie with snippets from the six seasons as a farewell present for your fans, Please?

All the best to you all, cast and crew.  We shall miss you.

Hey guys,

How else to say it; this show has been so totally awesome. It has brought so many laughs over the years! It's a show that can be enjoyed by family; it brought mine together at least once a week, regardless of where we all were in the country. It's hard to believe it's ending already!
Thank you all so much for the time, effort and hard work that you put in to turn a small town Canadian show into a worldwide phenomenon. The show will be dearly missed, but the work put in by the talented actors and writers that made the characters so lovable will not be forgotten.

Also, thank you also for introducing me to my favorite band, The Tragically Hip. I don't know how I'd survived so long without their music! Rock on!

Well done, Corner Gas!

I am honoured to have witnessed and enjoyed a great Canadian show with a cast of wonderfully funny, Canadian talent. I really hate to see the end but I guess all good things must come to an end

I would like to thank you all for giving me laughter and joy. I will miss you all and I hope you all the
best. At least I have all the DVD's to watch and enjoy again and again. I look forward to purchase the last season.

Take care.

P.S.

I am really going to miss my Monday night fix of Brent and the gang! Corner Gas has to be my favorite show bar none! Thank goodness for DVD's! It's been a wonderful run and I really hate to see it leave. A Corner Gas rerun on Comedy is like comfort food! I never get tired of it! I'll always treasure the items I've been able to purchase and especially my auction winning! Staying up to midnight and spending 52,000 Dog River Dollars to win 1 Dog River Dollar prop! Priceless!
I wish all the crew the best, and Brent...looking forward to your next endeavor!

Cheers and Tears!

I feel so stupid. I just discovered this show tonight in the states (TX), and you are already going off the air!  They play the show on WGN at 3am so I never really new about it. I love this show! I am going to be buying all of the DVDS as soon as I can. I will also enjoy the replays I'm sure. Thank you for the laughs tonight, I am sick with the flew and I needed them! The ensemble cast is so talented that I really feel like I want to be part of Dog River. Best of luck to all. I am a new and permanent phan.-phourbin

I'm from rural Australia and I could swear half these characters are taken from my life! Problem is I can't see anything else on t.v making up for the loss of this show once it's gone. So thanks for pushing me into a new show bracket: a revenge brunch is in order :-)

Hey Brent, we are going to miss your show. Been a long time since I stole any crab apples, funny don't remember pulling my groin the last time either. Hey I was just wondering, I was in Tisdale last year and they have a big sign up with a picture of a Chinese guy named Brent Butt on it, didn't know there were two Brent Butt's, must be a big table tennis community.

Take Care, some fans from Regina.

So many laughs, so many good times. Corner Gas has brought it every Monday, each and every episode with a new idea that brings the characters to life. This is probably one of the most easiest shows to relate to, which is part of the reason why it makes it so good.

Thank you to the cast and crew of Corner Gas. Everyone did their part in the creation of such a successful show. Best of luck to you in the future. Thank you to all the guest stars who appeared on the show, which made Corner Gas that much more enjoyable. Thanks to all who ran the CG Tours (which I unfortunately couldn't take part in), I heard they were a great success. I should also mention the Corner Gas Online team. Thank you for keeping this site up and running.

Corner Gas will never be forgotten. It will always be a part of Saskatchewan's heritage, and of course a part of Canada's history.

Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen.

I am going to miss this show...even more then...well any show I can think of. As a proud Saskatoonian trapped in the bowels of Onterrible the show was a very happy reminder of home. And all the things I loved about the Prairies...minus the winters. All the best to the whole cast.

First of all, Congratulations on such a fantastic sit-com. We watched the team on Corner Gas every night and laughed until our sides hurt. There were a lot of situations I connected with, but the one that remains in the ol' noodle is where the town was considering a traffic light on Main and Main. When someone said it could alleviate traffic congestion and the shot went to the only four cars in town in a traffic jam I almost split a gut. OMG. True to small town thinking. I lived in Assiniboia (that's southwest of Rouleau) for four years.

So, thank you to the crew and cast for such wonderful times and we wish you all the very best in the future. Thanks for the memories and hope for Corner Gas II (or something similar).

We're devastated!!  I have only just discovered Corner Gas.  My name is Kerry and I live in Townsville in North Queensland Australia ( check your map along the coast just below  the pointy bit).  I watch it faithfully Monday to Wednesday.  I hope we have plenty more to watch here I love it.  I think Davis is so cute - he's a sweetie.  The old fella , well I think I had an uncle like him once.  The others are great too.  Best wishes to all of you .

Unfortunately, my husband and I arrived on the Corner Gas scene late in its career...not until we moved to Saskatchewan in late 2007.  My husband is from rural Minnesota and is terribly proud to be a "Saskatchewaner" now.  He gets really upset when the rest of Canada seems to skip over the province like it wasn't even there.  As for me, living in rural Saskatchewan is a first.  I am a city girl born and bred.  So we watched Corner Gas with a special eagerness that wasn't just for the laughs (although there were plenty of those).

For him, it was a reinforcement of his faith in the down-to-earth qualities of folks in rural Saskatchewan, or, indeed, almost anywhere.  What made the show funny to him was it its real life flavour.  Only funnier.

For me, it was an insight into what rural life is all about...the way everyone knows everyone else, even their intimate secrets...the love-hate relationships and the tolerance that becomes a necessity in small towns.  It was even funnier when I could see myself in Lacey, the outsider trying to fit in and bumbling because of not being used to small town ways.

The funniest episode to both of us was the one where Brent is being admonished by Emma to be at her place no later than 5pm for her mother's day celebration and he protests that he is working up until 5pm.  She snorts and says that allowing for rush hour traffic he should be there by 5:01pm.  Coming from Calgary where there is real rush hour traffic 24/7, we found that just hilarious...and true of the small southeastern Saskatchewan town we now find ourselves in.

Thanks for the insights, the hilarity, and the love.  And special thanks to Brent for making it an ensemble effort and not just a one-star comedy.  It was the richer for it.  You will all be missed.

Even though I am disappointed to hear that Corner Gas will not be back next season, I wish to send my sincere appreciation for the many hours of great entertainment the program provided. I have not enjoyed any other commedy as much as I have enjoyed watching your presentation of small town Saskatchewan life.
The sense of loss I now feel is the same as one I felt many years ago when it was announced the the show "Mash" was coming to an end. I watched the re-runs for years. I hope I have the opportunity to do the same with "Corner Gas".
Bravo. I stand and applaud you!

Well, where to begin..... Mondays will never be the same for sure. You have truly made so many laugh till we split!! I wish all of you nothing but the best in future endeavors. I didn't have a favorite character... you were ALL awesome at what you did to bring laughter and joy into our lives. My absolute favorite scene (and I swear, it still makes me roar) is where Oscar pulls up to Corner Gas as Brent is hanging up the Video Rental sign. Oscar says " What's that sign say?", and Brent says "Geez Dad, sound it out... take it slow".
Once again Gang, THANK YOU so much for making all things Saskatchewan (hope I spelled that right LOL... I'm an Ont. Gator!) funny, and thanks for makin' it truly Canadian!! Corner Gas will always ROCK!!!

You're just like the drug dealer that hooked someone and then left town!
I watch a show once and if it has a laugh track I tune out. I couldn't tell if yours had one because I was laughing too hard.
Good luck to everyone in the cast. Nobody could play any of your parts as good as you guys did.
I'm going back to my closet and shut the door so I can cry in private.

PS If you want to send me a boxed set of your programs at no charge that would make me happy for another 6 years!

A special "thank you" to everyone involved with this website!

Another special thanks to everyone involved with the big Season 3 contest, and that includes all the cast!

This website and that Summer 2006 trip were a one-of-a-kind experience to enjoy with a great TV show!

Thanks to everyone who helped make it all happen.

To the cast:

It's never too late to make your first (or second, third, etc.) visit to the Ruby!  You might even enjoy it!

Thank you so much for the laughter over the past six seasons.  My father-in-law was a proud Saskatchewan boy from Nokomis and I had the good fortune to accompany him on two separate trips.  We made it down to Rouleau aka Dog River on our second trip and managed to take a few great pictures before being chased away by one of the security guards.  We accomplished our mission but unfortunately there won't be any more trips as he passed away a short time after that.
I'm not sure how I'll get through my days without the Prairie Scramble fix.  I've always been a proud Canadian and Corner Gas has escalated that feeling.  I dearly wish it didn't have to end.  My best wishes for everyone involved with the show - from cast to crew!

I am so sorry to see you guys leave. Corner gas, to me, was the best comedy ever put on Canadian TV. I was introduced to it by my daughter in law and have been a fan ever since. I play proirie scrabble every day. I watch on C|TV each Monday and the Comedy Network each day. I can't imagine my day without my dose of Corner Gas.  My favourite word is "Jackass" and I will miss Oscar calling everyone it. So sad to see you go but anxious to see the new show with Ms. Robertson in it. I t should be a hoot. So long for now. Hope to see you all again on the "little screen".

Corner Gas
What a shame that a comedy of rural Saskatchewan is going to be finished.  I visited Dog River(Rouleau) many times and purchased a lot of corner gas items at their store.  You are truly going to be missed.  I thought that when they said this was the last season that it was a joke.  No joke folks, they will be gone and I will look forward to all the reruns.  Congratulations on such a great performance.

Thank you, for all the great times and laughs, watching your beloved cast and crew bring us Corner Gas. Every week you gave us, the laughs we needed!
To say goodbye, would mean never seeing you again. So I'll say, So long for now, I will watch for all of you in your future endevours.

Hi, I'm Aron from Australia I love the show and I will really miss it. Thanks so much for all the fun & laughter, this is one of the best shows I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I will really be sad April 13, when it all comes to an end  Good luck in the future to the great cast & crew.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the laughs you gave me over the years. Dog River became a real, if extremely weird, town and you proved that not all talented Canadians have to move to the U.S. to be in a quality series. I will miss you all.

I just recently discovered Corner Gas earlier this year when I woke up in the middle of the night after passing out on the couch. Now I have to wake up at 4am (I'm from Florida and have to catch it on WGN) just to watch episodes eventhough I can watch episodes on youtube. This show is so freakin' brilliant!! I fell in love with the show, and now I'm bummed that the series is ending. I hope the rumored movie will come true.

What a ride we've shared with Brent and his crew! Like a roller coaster ride it went by too fast and ended  too quickly. Soon, the Corner Gas DVD sets will be like watching old home movies and remembering what Canada used to be like. However, we'll look back fondly and wish we could recapture the past for just a moment.
To Brent and the crew, we all hope for continued success in your future careers. As viewers, we can only hope for a "Corner Gas" movie or a "Corner Gas" reunion to meet our future "Corner Gas" needs. Perhaps the funding for these future projects is buried in the most recent federal budget as the government has provided funding for every other type of project.

So long! We'll miss you!!
