I have seen every episode at least 3 times and me and my friends act them out and think of new episodes! I love your show because it is all about the characters and i have grown to love each of them. In no particular order: Hank the charming idiot, Brent the sarcastic, lazy, loving friend (at most times), Lacey the new-comer, Karen the one closest to normal, Davis the goofy teddy bear, Emma the calm-tempered wife who puts up with a LOT, Oscar the sweet old crank and Wanda the smart (except at math) person who will beat you up. At first i wasn't sure about the show but by the end of the first episode i saw (wash me and i will always remember it) i was hooked. I love you guys and doubt you will ever read this but it would be my dream to ever meet you guys. Yah, i know, my friends would call me a nerd but i am and not in a bad way! I love guys and cried when it was over. Corner gas is the best show on earth and i am proud it is canadian. LONG LIVE CORNER GAS!!!

We got totally hooked on Corner Gas when there was a marathon on New Years Day  ... couldn't stop watching.  We've been watching episodes every night and all the new season 6 series as well.   You have become our extended family.   Great shows, thanks for all your hard work.  You will be missed.

No more Corner Gas? That's just so sad! Everyone at my house loves this show. It's just a basic simple comedy sitcom that I really enjoy. Hope to find some reruns but dunno when they air. It's just a shame that Corner Gas will no longer be on (except for reruns)

When I first heard about this program called CORNER GAS that was coming to air, and I heard the plot, I knew immediately that it would be fantastic but I never realized how much my family and I would come to
cherish it. I grew up in a small prairie town in Alberta and when I married, my wife and I knew we wanted to raise our family in a small prairie town. Corner Gas has hit a chord with us because we can relate to the closeness and wackyness (is that a word?) of small town living. There is something wonderfully familiar to us in Corner Gas that I believe only a prairie person can truly appreciate. We have had the privilege of meeting many of the cast at the sound stage in Regina and must say we were pleasantly surprised by the kindness they showed to all the fans that were there. We even got to express our love for the program on camera on the "Its been a Gas" program that aired before the last episode. You are loved and appreciated and I wish you all the best in whatever opportunities come to you in the future, but to us you will always be remembered as the off the wall, adored folks from "Dog River". We will miss you...

I don't think any Canadian will forget the epic series, just getting funnier all the time. Although it's ending at  least we know it was not short lived, to end it, you should make a movie, where Lacey moves, Oscar and Emma sell there house, Davis and Karen get promoted, Hank gets married or something, Brent sells the station and Wanda gets hired to teach at a university. Only a suggestion, but quite a way to end the best Canadian made thing since mac and cheese. So long

Well, it's been a blast watching Canada's favourite show for six years, but things change. all good things must come to an end, so I guess this is goodbye. Well, congratulations to everyone involved with corner gas, and thank you SO much for putting this show on the air. I love you all!

What a awesome show!!!  We never missed an espisode, watched you from the very first and every Monday night till the last.  So sad to see you go, loved everyone of you, great people, it was like you were people I knew.  We have all the DVD's, just waiting for the last one, have your book, couple of pics.  Even on the comedy channel we watch the reruns on Saturdays.  We lived in Saskatchewan for 12 years and loved it there, small towns are great.  When travelling back and forth to Alberta, 5 -6 times a year, we drove up Hwy 39, past the set at Dog River (Rouleau), sometimes we were lucky and they were shooting outside scenes at the set there, and got to sit on the highway and wait and watch.   Have a few good pictures.  Anyways all the best to all and thanks for the laughs.  Good TV is hard to come by, and this was right up there at the top.  Do take care all and will really miss you.  Ray, Dianna & family

I just recently met you all in person at the etalk live show... what a thrill to meet you all.  Your abilities to make us all laugh (at ourselves too - I'm an ex-Saskatchewanian) and forget our own lives for 30 minutes each week will be truly missed.  I am looking forward to seeing your talents once again in upcoming projects.... but somehow, I know I'll never forget the fun loving, wacky, and strangely familiar cast of Corner Gas... you are all great!!!  A big farewell to Fitsy too!  See you again!

Well, it feels like someone died...but I'm sure Brent did the right thing. It's sad to see once great shows decline in quality by hanging on too long. Corner Gas certainly was at the top of its game! The show was a refreshing reminder that quality sitcoms are possible. I hope it inspires many more funny guys. By the way Brent, I'm from around Mistatim, so all the talk about the "small town guy from Tisdale" makes me laugh. You guys were bright lights big city to us, what with your fancy four way stops, and Hannigans, and Zoerbs bakery... We'll look for you down the road! Congratulations on bringing so much to so many lives. Another Sask expat

So sad to hear that it has all come to an end.  I live in Queensland, Australia with my Canadian wife.   We , including our three year old, have been watching the DVD's for the last couple of years and have absolutely loved all the episodes.  Looking forward to Season six on DVD

I watched an early season 1 episode and loved Corner Gas immediately. I'm not the sort to follow programs, scheduling tv viewing for certain times however. So although I caught Corner Gas whenever it happened to be on, I had really only watched a handful of episodes by the end of season 5. One day I happened upon a Corner Gas marithon on tv, and spent the entire day watching Corner Gas. At the end of the day, I wanted more! About then I heard the show was ending. I couldn't help but to begin purchasing the DVDs. I can't believe all the fun I've missed over the past few years, but at least now I'm catching up on it. My favorite episode so far: The Littlest Yarbo.

Great work guys & gals. If only we could hope to one day have another Canadian program, so fun, and so entertaining as Corner Gas has been.

Farewell 'Corner G'!

I will be honest, when Corner Gas first came on the air I thought it was the most mental show ever, but as I started watching it with my husband and 3 boys I grew to love it especially "Wanda"! I TOTALLY related to her character! I was saddened to hear that the show was ending, it will be greatly missed!  We recently had the opportunity to travel to Rouleau Sask. with hopes that we could still get the affects of the Corner Gas set and sadly most of it is just boarded up buildings.  You still get the idea but it wasn't the same.  I wish I had been able to take my kids there while you were still filming.   Maybe one day you will come back???  Make more shows???  PLEASE???

Well to all the cast, I hope you read this and I send all my best wishes to you for whatever the future holds for you after Corner Gas!  Take Care and God Bless!

It truly has Been a Gas!

I don't know what to say, but I have enjoyed Corner Gas So Much! It's been my only Must See show for the last 6 years. Even the re-runs are more enjoyable than most 1st. run shows. There is always something funny that I didn't notice the 1st. time around.

Thank you C.G. cast, writers, & production people. Thank you Brent Butt  for creating the idea of Dog River, & CTV for putting this original, unique, Canadian production on the air. Good luck to everyone who worked on C.G. & continued success in all you do in the future.

I'm hoping there will be a movie, & some T.V. Specials not too far down the line.

  You will be missed!

Hi. I'm 16 years and Corner Gas is my favorite show on TV. The Lamborghini episode is my favorite. I watch it when I get home from school. I watch it at night. I just can't get enough of it. I'm really going to miss it. I hope Brent Butt makes another show as good as this. From Brian, Tehachapi, CA

I haven't had TV in my house for 11 years and with Corner Gas' retirement, now I really don't see any point in it! I have the first 5 seasons of Corner Gas on DVD and watch them over and over and over............lather, rinse,repeat........and over!
I haven't checked out anything from season 6 yet as I don't want to ruin Christmas. My husband and I have gotten the DVDs every year for Christmas from my parents, who are in a better place.......Saskatoon, of course.......and it would not be Boxing Day without a cold turkey sandwich and the most recent season of CG. What we'll do for Boxing Day 2010 I'm loathe to consider.

To say how solidly hysterical the writing is and how well conceived and constructed the characters are, both lead and fringe, is probably preaching to the choir. The cameo roles throughout have been brilliant and hilarious. The clean language is indicative of intelligent humor and as much as this show will be sorely missed, I think it's wonderful to retire it as a  champion.

I live now in the Cariboo region of BC but grew up in the land of Rider Pride, Bunny Hugs and Gotch. (When i first moved to BC, i thought everyone had a speech impediment. Gonch??)

My heartfelt thanks to every cog in the finely oiled machine that has been Corner Gas, you've all been amazing. The laughs are too numerous to count as are the "isms", many of which have become disturbingly regular parts of speech in our house. Thanks again for delivering the best gift one human can give another, laughter. (Alternately, a Darryl Sittler Rookie Card will do in a pinch.)
Cheers,
April Gerwing,
Williams Lake BC

Hello, from Cambridge,Ohio! I just want to say that I  appreciate your show! I lived in a small town In North Dakota when i was younger and this show reminds me of that place so much!  My son, who just turned 5 in February 2009,said that he wants his next birthday cake to be a "Corner Gas" cake like Brent's! You would be amazed how much he pays attention to this show! He prefers to watch Corner Gas over anything else! Thank you for letting us enjoy this show time and time again! I have always enjoyed Corner Gas- &, as a former long distance truck driver, I do know the landscape, on the TranCanada , especially- not so scenic- but I also found most praire people are just so down to earth, & sometimes quirky. Just "a lot more going on" . I loved the show, to the point that, I did purchase Corner Gas trivea on a lone road trip( with my dog) through Saskatchewan, on my way to Child's Lake, Manitoba. My  80 plus sister( who recently climbed the Great Wall of China) gave me a Corner Gas Cup & a keychain. I loved all your cast &always  looked forward to the show. I did want to stop & see the set when I was in Regina, but time did not allow.- I regret it. I think you have achieved much, Brent Butt, & you did not have to resort to profanity to be humorous- I thank you & your cast & whoever helped  to get this show on the air. Good luck with your new endeavours to all of you. You are so appreciated!Great, when one can be artistic & be financilly successful!!

To anyone involved with the show who reads this...

Thank you.

I'm one of those Americans who found Corner Gas on WGN America (then "Superstation WGN").  Though your American outlet eventually buried the show late into the night, and will not run Season 6, I didn't let that stop me from following along.  And recently, I discovered that CTV.ca's own online player started offering the show outside of Canada.

To watch the finale, I seriously considered driving to an upstate New York area that offers CTV's Toronto outlet on cable.  Heck, I thought about watching it in Canada, though that wasn't possible due to my "real life" interfering.

And I've already pre-ordered the S6 DVD.

I don't know if you're aware of your American fan base, but you should know that Corner Gas - while wholly Canadian at its core - has worldwide appeal.

Why?  Because aside from being chock full of well-crafted characters and great writing, it's REAL.  Brent said it himself on the special before Monday night's episode.

Corner Gas never tried to be anything it wasn't.  It had a genuine sensibility, and respect for its small-town characters.  Despite everything, you know that this group cared about each other.

And by "this group", I mean both the characters which populated Dog River, but the actors, crew and everyone else associated with this wonderful show.  Watching the special on Monday, you could tell that it was a joyous, fun six-year ride.

Best to all of you...and even down here in the States, we'll keep track of your future projects.  And Brent?  We're glad that you even imagined life if you hadn't gone into comedy, in small town Saskatchewan, pumping gas...

*sigh*
I am so very sad that Corner Gas is over. My husband and I have watched the show every week on CTV (then sometimes again on the Comedy Channel later in the week), and countless times over and over on the DVDs. The characters from Dog River will live on forever! We were lucky enough to attend the E-talk special at the CTV studios on Monday, April 13th. To meet the cast and get photos and autographs on the day that the final episode aired was an unbelieveable treat for us!
Congratulations to Brent Butt, the terrific cast and crew and all of the writers. In my humble opinion, Corner Gas is the most enjoyable television show I've ever watched. Bravo! Can't wait to see what they're all up to next...

Hi to everybody-to all CG fans in the world and to the CG cast,

I`m from Germany. Through a lucky coincidence, in 2008, I read a article about Corner Gas on a german website about US/Canadian TV series. And the description sounds so interesting to me that I searched and found the episodes in the world wide web.
Since I watched the first epsiode of the first season I knew I have a new favorite TV series. Besides M*A*S*H and Seinfeld.
Now that the series ended I`m feeling blue and happy at the same time. I can understand why you decided to let the series end. In the height of the season; searching for new career opportunities; just a move on...
To the cast in front and behind the camera: you guys did a great job and I wish you for your future a lot of work to do.
Applaudable to me were the cameo appearance of your politician and that the April 13th is a Corner Gas Day! Wow. I didn`t even know if a german politician would do that.

Ì would love to buy merchandise but I can`t (because of´the region) but I hope I can buy the DVD`s ( Region 2) near soon . So that I can watch Corner Gas at times when I need a good laugh.
Or a german broadcaster will bring Corner Gas. We will see.........
But I quite believe that Saskatchewan is on my next travelling list ;-)

To the Corner Gas team:  I wish you all the best, loads of health and success.

Beatrice from Germany

Dear Corner Gas,

Before your first season Professional Wrestling( yeah I know) ruled my tv on mondays, once you started your run I was hooked, it was the start of a new era, a Canadian era. That was about 5 years ago and that era has come to an end. I have enjoyed my time in Dog River, it pains me to say goodbye but I guess it has to be done. Tuning in on mondays was looked forward to, you guys and your wacky antics were great. I will miss you guys deeply and Corner Gas will always have a place in my heart. I would have liked another season but I guess this is what has to be done for the show. Once again thank you, I wish you all luck, It's Been A Gas!

A great show, I have been a big fan since the debut.  I am one of those people who race home from work to watch.
What an ensemble cast, every one of you deserve kudos.  All of the people behind the cameras too.  What an awesome writing crew and the sets/props/wardrobe people, you knew what to do and knew how to make these characters believable.
When I heard that this was the last season of Corner Gas, it hurt me a little.  This is by far my favourite show (and I watch a lot of TV).  I like the fact the characters are so easy to relate to.  People thought I was nuts when I said I was watching a Canadian sitcom, they said they're never funny.  Boy were they wrong and now they are hooked too.

Thanks for the laughs.

Also, as I watched the show's finale last night, I really appreciated how it ended.  The way the "caption" were as the cast was panned by was done very well.  I thought it was a very classy way to end the show.  The fact that it was given an ending where you knew what was going to happen to the characters was great.  Too many times, shows just end and you are left wondering whatever happened.
Thank You for six years of entertainment!!

As I said on the "It's been a Gas" documentary, you have all been part of our family.

It was indeed an honour to meet most of you that wonderful day in Regina, and the following early morning Canada AM taping. The only two we missed were Janet and Nancy.....and I hope someday to meet you and thank you for all the memories in person.

That trip to Regina was our best vacation as a family, and it was all done with 2 days planning....

From all of us to all of you.......

Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.....

Remember....

You created something that will coninue to charm and entertain families all around the world for many years to come

To the cast and crew of Corner Gas:
I thank you for the 6 seasons of tears of laughter and joy.  My son and I spent every Monday night together watching it on CTV.  Previous seasons on DVD was the ultimate yearly stocking stuffer idea for my son, and as result, enjoyed an hour of family time every night with he and I together watching reruns on DVD.  I thank you for this family time!  I will truly miss watching new episodes every Monday night, but I can reassure you that watching our DVDs will never end!!

I am a little bit late on the farewell to Corner Gas but  here it is. I loved this show and sometimes it is best to leave on a positive note. I am truly sorry to see the show gone. I wish all the actors success in their chosen areas of work. Corner gas did truly show the rest of Canada as well as some of my friends in the US that  have Canadian television what true humor can do for a person.
We don't need swear words to make people laugh. Thank you CTV and everyone that made Corner Gas.
Sincerely,
Sharon (Luseland, SK)
