Senior police officer Davis Quinton is no small town cop. He doesn't take his position in the community lightly and his civic duty often leads to drastic measures - like the first Dog River Police ride-along. Keeping his 'rookie' cop in line can be trying at times, but luckily there's new equipment to demo and townspeople to protect.

Cardinal's television credits include Blackfly, Jake & The Kid, North of 60, Lonesome Dove and the movie North of 60: Distant Drumming. His performance in the MOW Tecumseh: The Last Warrior earned him a First Americans in the Arts nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He also appeared in Insomnia (Robin Williams, Al Pacino) and won a Gemini Award for Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Program or Series for Corner Gas in 2007.

Cardinal's many stage credits include 60 Below and Canadian Stage's Twelfth Night. He performed the role of Shokapee in Black Elk Speaks at the Denver Arts Center and the dual roles of Doming and Manco in Citadel Theater's Royal Hunt of the Sun.
